A 30-year-old Albanian was killed with a knife, after harassing the girlfriend of an Egyptian. They beat him in the center of Athens with sticks and also stabbed him with knives. He was then transported to the hospital, but unfortunately he did not make it.

The victim, while on the balcony of a hotel, spoke with the partner of one of the attackers, of Egyptian origin. Then he asked him to talk and the 30-year-old man went down to the street and as a result they held hands. Two other people were also involved in the fight. Everyone thought that the event ended there, but it was not so... .

A little later, the 30-year-old was walking in Karaiskaki Square and was attacked by three other friends of the Egyptian. One stabbed him and the Albanian was taken to the hospital.

Police officers took the case and managed to identify the persons involved. Investigators have issued six arrest warrants and on Friday afternoon five people were located and arrested.

Evidence and data collected from the scene were used for the investigation of the case, and in combination with witness statements, the data of all six people involved in the murder were identified. The case brought against them was submitted to the District Prosecutor of Athens./ tanea.gr
