Judge of the Court of Tirana Arnisa Këlliçi

Tirana Court Judge Arnisa Këllici has been threatened with death and therefore she has sought protection at the High Judicial Council.

In the letter she addressed the KLGj, I make aware that the threatening letter has come to her this Saturday, when the date marks 20.01.2024.

The menacing letter:

Dear Arnisa.

You have two children ..... and ..... Think of them!

How can you live, not them, and that's true.

With respect

The letter is thought to have been sent from prison, while in the face of this threat Judge Arnisa Këllici has asked the High Judicial Council to be given special protection.

"A few days ago it was announced to me by the Chancellor of this Court that against me, Judge Arnisa Këlliçi, there was a threat to life.

For this fact I have no proof, but it has been announced to me that there is a charge filed by the Chancellor of the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Of Tirana.

Today, 20.01.2024, a threatening letter has arrived, which as far as I can decipher, contains threats to me, my children and my family.

I cannot at any time prove the truth of this letter.

That said, for every eventuality, I seek special protection, as far as you see it necessary," the full letter of Judge Arnisa Këlliçi to the KLGJ" the judge urges.
