A serious incident was recorded today in Korça, after a person got electrocuted while throwing a hook into the river to fish.

Official sources inform that the citizen AS, a resident of Korça, while fishing in the river, while casting the hook to fish, the hook came into contact with the high voltage wires, causing an electric shock. The event took place in Voskopoja.

As a result of the dismissal, the AS citizen suffered burns on his body. This citizen was transported to the hospital for medical assistance, out of danger to his life.

The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working to clarify the circumstances of the event.
