A serious accident occurred on the former Kêneta road, which is connected to the Ring Road of the city of Durrës. A vehicle, which was traveling at high speed, lost control passing the road divider to end up on the opposite side.

During the detour, the vehicle first hit a cyclist, a pedestrian, a motorcycle and a parked vehicle, before colliding with the facade of a car wash.

The driver of the vehicle and the passenger in the vehicle received injuries and were sent to the hospital, while the other people involved in the accident did not have serious injuries.

Police officers have arrived at the scene, and while they surrounded the accident site until the end of the investigation, they are working to clarify the causes.

It is initially suspected that the cause of the accident may have been the loss of control of the vehicle due to speed.
