A serious incident happened this evening in the city of Durrës, where a 3-year-old baby was seriously injured after falling from the 7th floor balcony.

The police say that the child was on the balcony with her parents, while it remains unclear how she fell without being spotted by them.

The baby was sent to Durrës hospital in serious condition.

"Around 20:07, in neighborhood no. 13, it is suspected that she accidentally fell from the balcony of the apartment on the seventh floor, where she was together with her parents, a 3-year-old.

As a result of the injuries received, the minor is receiving medical help in the regional hospital of Durrës and is in a serious state of health", informs the police.

The investigative group is working to clarify and document the circumstances of the event with legal evidence.
