The Supreme Court did not accept the request of SPAK, which demanded the return to prison of the son-in-law of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, Jamarbër Malltezi.

SPAK appealed against the decision to release Malltez from the cell under house arrest, it seems that he was requested to be returned to the cell.

Likewise, the Supreme Court has decided to overturn the request of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, against the security measure against him. Berisha will continue to remain under house arrest.

Both Berisha and Malltezi are being investigated by SPAK for the affair with the former Partizani complex, with accusations of corruption, abuse of office and money laundering.
