UNHEARD/ Greece discovers that she was married to an Albanian without her

An unusual event happened in Greece, where the protagonists are an Albanian and a 31-year-old Greek woman.

According to local media, while the young woman from Thessaloniki was preparing the documents she needed for her wedding, she learned that she was married to a man she does not know.

According to the documents, it was said that the 31-year-old lived with an Albanian citizen, but in fact she did not know this person and also her residential address was far from what was stated in the documents.

According to her lawyer, the 31-year-old was the victim of a fraud, where fraudsters used her stolen identity.

They achieved this, since on the afternoon of February 16, 2023, the couple's apartment was robbed by several thieves, who stole several items, including two purses, one of which had the 31-year-old's identification card.

The Albanian benefited from this, and through the celebration, he managed to obtain documents and a residence permit in the Greek state.
