Suspected of providing the conditions to kill the Bami brothers, the 37-year-old

Interpol Tirana has extradited from Switzerland a person accused by the Criminal Court of Albania as a member of a criminal group, as a result of operational cooperation between Interpol Tirana and Interpol Bern. 

This is about 37-year-old Jozi Kraja, born in Shkodra, who is accused by the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime as a member of a structured criminal group.

The Special Court of First Instance, by decision dated 15.05.2024, has assigned this person the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offenses "Providing conditions and material means to commit murder", "Structured criminal group" and "Commitment of criminal offenses by a criminal organization or structured criminal group". 

According to investigations conducted by the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, it is suspected that Jozi Kraja, during the period December 2020 - May 2024, provided the conditions and material means to commit the murder of two brothers Durim and Valter Bami.

Interpol Tirana announcement:

A citizen accused by the Criminal Court of Kosovo as a member of a criminal group is extradited from Switzerland.

He is suspected of having provided the conditions and material means to commit the murder of two brothers over a period of 4 years. 

As a result of the coordination of operational actions between specialists from the Interpol Tirana Directorate and Interpol Bern, the procedure for the extradition from Switzerland to Albania of the citizen: 

-JK, 37 years old, born in Shkodra.
