The name of the person arrested in Vlora by the State Police and Spanish police officers, who the day before conducted a joint operation, to capture some Albanians who are implicated in the affairs of investing in online stock markets, has been revealed.
In the city of Vlora, Berlando Saraçaj has been arrested for extradition purposes, who was wanted by the Spanish justice authority, as a suspect in "Participation in a Criminal Organization" and "Fraud in aggravating circumstances" carried out continuously, Ora News reports. .
For the 32-year-old from Vlora on November 3, 2021, the Court of First Instance Sue De Urgell in Spain, has assigned the security measure "arrest in prison", as implicated in the two criminal offenses above. The communication of the arrest, Berlando Saraçaj, was made by a State police officer who serves in the Economic-Financial Crime sector.
According to the investigation file, Saraçaj is part of a group of personalities who manage several chain points of Call Centers in Tirana and beyond. But surprisingly, the Spanish authorities have requested the arrest of only Berlando Sarancaj.
Ora News learns that the latter is a shareholder in 4 telemarketing companies in Albania such as "Novem Albania", "EBI MEDIA MARKETING" and two other nephews with personalized names.
Erindi Pysqyli, Ndriçim Sula, Arbana Bushaj, Anila Toska, Suela Toska, Gjergj Rebi, Xhuvane Xhabrahimi, Bora Kamberaj and Pietro Kuqi are also suspected to be part of the online scholarship fraud circle.
Also, in this fraud scheme, there are strong indications that people who have political support in the government are also implicated.
The fraud scheme used by Berlando Saraçaj is already known to the police structures.
The subject or victim of fraud first registers on the fraud platform with first name, last name, e-mail and phone number.
The operators contact their "victim" immediately on the phone and establish a basis of trust with the alleged customer.
Initially, the customer is tempted to invest in small amounts, with the promise that the broker-intermediary, the alleged investment site will make a large profit by investing in stocks and cryptocurrencies.
This promise based on a fictitious platform, which aims to deceive victims through computer systems, for unfair economic benefits, is false. The customer cannot withdraw the money he has invested, but is tempted to top up the amount until the fraudster loses track and disappears, then withdrawing money through a sophisticated online mechanism.
