The case of the 22-year-old woman from Kenya who was found unconscious near her apartment in Tirana was referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office.

The blue forces have reacted by saying that they received a complaint from her friend on August 14 and have registered the criminal proceedings for the criminal offense "Deliberate serious injury".  

Police notification

On 14.08.2022, a citizen from Kenya filed a complaint about the loss of contact with her friend, citizen JA, 22 years old, from Kenya, living in a rented apartment on "Pandeli Evangjeli" street, which was then found unconscious near her apartment.

In relation to this case, we clarify that Police Station No. 1 evaluated the denunciation made and reacted in time. At the end of the first investigative actions for this case, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Tirana Judicial District Court, which has registered the criminal proceedings, for the criminal offense "Deliberate serious injury".

Also, we clarify that the investigative structures of Police Station No. 1 Tirana have carried out all investigative actions delegated by the Prosecutor's Office, to clarify the circumstances of this case.
