The Prime Minister's Office removes the New Year tree

With less than an hour to go before the opposition protest begins, authorities are taking measures to preserve the end-of-year holiday decorations.

As can be seen from the footage, Tirana Municipality employees have moved the New Year tree, along with decorations placed in front of the Prime Minister's Office, in such a way as to avoid any possible damage if an incident occurs.

The opposition protest is expected to start at 6:00 PM on Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard.
