Brothers Sajmir and Landi Miri have shown remorse before the investigative team for the murder of 34-year-old Indri Ndoi, who was shot with a club after a conflict.
They told the police officers that they did not intend to kill him, but the situation got out of control, as the 34-year-old had seriously offended them, because he was also in a serious condition after consuming narcotics.
Among other things, they stated that they left Ndoi alive, and they panicked in the morning when they found out that he had died due to bleeding. The Miri brothers have revealed that they had met to clear up an old conversation.
"We did not intend to kill him. Yes, the situation got out of control after he attacked us and insulted us severely. He (Ndoj) was in serious condition, having consumed narcotics. We met at the place to clear up an old conversation. It is not that we had any open conflict with him, everything happened immediately after he attacked us. He was not aware. He tried to shoot us and to defend myself I shot him. Then we left. We left him alive. And we did not think that we had done any serious injury. But unfortunately the screwdriver had touched the main vein (femoral artery). Only when we heard in the morning that he had died. That's when we panicked. We don't know what to do. We are very sorry, as there was no need for the situation to reach this point of no return. We are very sorry."- the Miri brothers are said to have stated before the police investigators.
