The Elbasan Local Police Directorate has reacted after the claims of one of the candidates for the local elections, who stated that near the "Tomorr Sinani" high school in the city of Cërrik there were people who were intimidating citizens to vote in the elections taking place in this municipality.

The police announced that after receiving the information, police services immediately went to the scene for verification, but that they did not notice any problems.

Reaction of the Elbasan Local Police Directorate:

Regarding the claims of one of the candidates for the local elections, that there were people near the "Tomorr Sinani" high school in the city of Cerrik who were intimidating citizens, the Police services immediately went to the given address.

From the verifications carried out, no citizens were found in the vicinity, or near the "Tomorr Sinani" high school in the city of Cerrik. Also, there were no unauthorized persons gathered outside the Voting Centers and no problems were found.

The Elbasan Local Police Directorate remains fully committed to guaranteeing order, peace and the smooth running of the electoral process, as well as to responsibly verify any notification or complaint that may be related to this process.
