Violence at the counting center in Kashar, DP candidate: It started with an invalid vote

DP candidate for MP Grigels Muçollari has shared details from the violent altercation that occurred today at the Kashar Vote Counting Center, where the secretary of the Zonal Election Administration Commission (KZAZ), Remzi Mehemti, was punched.

Muçollari says the conflict started over an invalid vote.

"There was a conflict over an invalid vote. The details are still being clarified. There were unidentified persons who attacked the secretary of the CEAZ, who is a representative of the DP. Mr. Remzi is called the chairman.

"I don't know if they are supporters of Ornaldo Rakipi, but they were representatives of the majority, because the conflict had started over the counting of preferential votes for the Socialist Party. They are asking the police to take action. As far as I know, no one has been arrested," he said.
