Elections 2025

The Socialist Party continues to lead by a large margin even with diaspora votes. According to the latest data from the CEC, 121,985 envelopes out of a total of 194,889 have been counted so far.

The Socialist Party (SP) received 65,327 votes, which represents 54.07% of the total, maintaining its advantage abroad. In second place is the Democratic Party – Alliance for Greater Albania Coalition with 34,093 votes, representing 28.22%.

Meanwhile, the Albania Becomes Initiative Coalition has recorded a significant increase, receiving 10,078 votes or 8.34% of the total number.

The Opportunity Party secured 4,489 votes (3.72%), while the Together Movement managed to get 3,223 votes (2.67%). The Social Democratic Party secured 1,455 votes, which constitutes 1.20%.

Other entities received lower results, including Lulzim Basha's Euro-Atlantic Coalition Party with 874 votes, the Albanian National Alliance with 669 votes, Right for Development with 359 votes, the Homeland Movement with 189 votes, and the New Democracy Alliance with only 67 votes.

There are 4 districts where the race remains mathematically open, while a large part of the diaspora votes still remain to be counted. In the Tirana District, the fight for a mandate seems to be between the DP-ASHM and Agron Shehaj's Mundësia Party until the end. Mundësia is defending its second mandate in Tirana with several dozen votes, a mandate that risks becoming the 14th for the DP.

A result that could change is also in Fier, where the Socialist Party is defending its 9th mandate, but is being narrowed by the Albania Becomes Initiative, which has a very good percentage of votes in the diaspora.

Changes are also expected in Lezha. In Vlora there may be a chance of changes, although lukewarm. The DP may regain its 4th mandate in this district, the SP's 9th, but looking at the trend it seems difficult.
