Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Goncharenko says that Russia stands behind Serbia regarding the tensions caused in the north of Kosovo.

In an interview for "Euronews Albania", Oleksiy Goncharenko said that the same scenario was used in Kosovo that Putin used for the invasion of Ukraine, saying that the goal is denazification.

"I am sure of this and I say it openly. Repetition of Putin's scenario, where exactly the deputies of Serbia are starting and saying that we are doing the denazification of the Balkans, it is the same scenario as with us, that is, for the denazification of Ukraine, and denazification means the killing of Ukrainians and it means genocide .

Earlier today, Goncharenko declared through a post on social networks that if Serbia invades Kosovo, Ukraine will intervene in its defense.

On July 31, Serbs in Kosovo set up barricades on the roads leading to Jarinje and Bërnjak, due to the government's decision on Serbian license plates and documents.

The Government of Kosovo said that it will postpone the implementation of the decisions on the issuance of entry-exit documents for citizens of Serbia entering Kosovo and the one on the change of Serbian license plates, when the blockades are lifted.

All blockades in the north were lifted this afternoon.
