Italian media have published new details about the murder of a Romanian woman by her Albanian husband in Italy.

The serious incident took place yesterday afternoon, while the perpetrator, Avni Meçje, is suspected of having taken the car and fled to his hometown.

The victim is Alexandra Elena Mocanou, who worked as a bartender.

Neighbors have testified to constant fights between the couple.

The dead body of the victim was found by the police yesterday around 17:00, after the author's brother called the authorities saying that a murder had taken place in a house in Bolzano.

The author called his brother and parents and told them that he had to escape.

It is suspected that the 35-year-old woman was killed the day before, on Saturday.
