Every day, in Technical Control Centers across the country, flagrant cases of vehicles with lowered odometer (mileage) are being identified, with abusive interventions, which are being blocked after the analysis of the history by the systems until the odometer is corrected.
DPSHTRR writes that all vehicles resulting in anomalies in the odometer are provided with an approval certificate only after adjusting the mileage status, as well as the real history is noted on the certificate.
This will serve the eventual buyers to be aware of this fact and not to be deceived again.
Any person who has previously been cheated by the seller of the vehicle can report the case to the police.
Now, the new Technical Control Certificate that is issued at each Technical Control Center is of a completely European model.
Also, any person who wants to verify the vehicle can go to DPSHTRR to make individual requests to verify the history of the vehicle before any transaction.
"We suggest citizens to correctly verify the documentation of the vehicle as well as ask the seller to guarantee the mileage history or to have performed a Technical Control with the certificate, the new model with mileage history", writes DPSHTRR.
