Journalist: Vis Martinaj is not of the caliber to be kidnapped and killed

Journalist Elton Qyno commented on the news about the kidnapping or murder of Ervis Martinaj circulating in our country.

He said that there was no motive for Martinaj's disappearance or kidnapping, as such an action against him is very difficult.

He added that it was more likely that Martinaj would surrender himself, stressing that the state must intervene to get to the bottom of this story.

"It was his uncle who filed a complaint about Martinaj's disappearance. I don't believe we have a motivation for his disappearance because he is not of the caliber to be kidnapped and killed, but he could be surrendered. 

There are rumors that he may have been kidnapped or killed, but I personally don't think so. The state should thoroughly investigate such a thing or go and arrest him, he said.

Meanwhile, on the evening of August 23, 2022, Jeton Lami, an agent of the Special Operational Forces in the State Police, was arrested after allegedly supporting and transporting the much-wanted Ervis Martinaj.
