Year-end bonuses: The government "opens the bag" for police officers,

The Albanian government will soon finalize the distribution of year-end bonuses, and in addition to administration employees, around 8,000 basic role police officers will also benefit.

There is still no final draft, while from the talks so far, a reward of 10,000 or 15,000 new lek has been foreseen. This decision is expected to be made by the government within this week.

So far, a portion of administration employees have received bonuses for the end-of-year holidays, including sanitation workers, drivers, protocol and archive workers, etc.

From the anticipated bonus that will be distributed to police employees with basic roles, those who hold management positions in the police will be excluded from the scheme, specifically around 4 thousand employees who do not benefit from this anticipated scheme.

We remind you that State Police officers have already been on duty 12 hours a day and will remain on duty until January 3, to guarantee order and security during the year-end holidays.
