Journalist Bledi Mane spoke on "Live From Tirana" on Top Albania Radio about the citizens' protest that today marked its 25th day.
Asked by journalist Ronaldo Sharka if he is in favor of investing, Mane said he is in favor of investing in Zvërnec, as according to him the beach there is very polluted.
"I've been to Zvërnec twice, it's the dirtiest beach, where you can't tell the difference between sewage and sea water, and our garbage is thrown on that wooden bridge at the famous Monastery ," said Mane.
Regarding the protests, Mane made a point of irony by saying that the protests take place in the afternoon and not in the morning, as the people who protest work in the administration, while another part, according to him, receives funds from the state for projects.
Further, Mane pointed out that Top Media journalists have been given the freedom to go to the protest without any problems, but according to him, they must also protect their media from unjust attacks.
"We are both part of Top Albania Radio and you heard those epithets in the protest against Top Channel. Tell me a punitive measure that the management of Top Media has taken against a journalist who is participating in the protest. A large part of us is participating in the protest, has anyone received any emails? Has anyone had their salary cut? Is it up to anyone not to participate in the protest? You go out there and defend your company that is allowing you your freedom spaces, right..." , said Mane.

Asked about the criticism he has received as a government lobbyist, Mane replied:
"If you read what I wrote and said... We were even on "Big Brother" twice and we never mentioned the government, which was the most watched program and we could make it cool and no one stopped us and we were live without censorship or editing. So if you notice, there are many people who attribute to themselves the role of the person who can put any kind of words in your mouth. And then they turn to themselves and comment on what they themselves have put out of their mouths. The problem is that the government is not fought with threats on Instagram, the government is not fought with insults and insults from dead and living slaves and those who have not yet been born, those who are in the spinal cord, are being programmed. And this kind of verbal violence is deeply, deeply crumbling the protest. As veteran journalists that we are, it does not seem different to me from the DP protest. It is a protest without physical violence, for which they have a lot of merit, it is a protest where "The color pink, the color red and black, patriotism, hypocrisy have been surpassed. But on the other hand, we also have an online protest which is macabre, every second and every minute, our colleagues are receiving very threatening, very cannibalistic messages. And I'm noticing it for the first time in Albania, just like during Hitler's Social Democratic protests, people have come out with slogans with photos of journalists, which is very, very serious. So you expose the enemies exposed to the scoundrels and mothers in the crowd, pensioners, immigrants, the diaspora, Kosovars, Albanians of Macedonia, you show them in a marked way that these are the ones who fight us, these are the ones the government has brought in to fight us. So a supposed war with a supposed enemy, but which has a kind of cost."
