The first and most urgent task Sali Berisha leaves to the newly elected chairmen of the PD branches is the accuracy of membership lists, a process that can be used to exclude Supporters of The Oblast.
"The problem with inherited lists. The number one task of all newly elected PD structures is to remake the correct lists, draft a regulation for electoral processes in the PD and establish the Party Court", a re-establishment Commission notice says.
The Reestablishment Commission reports that 39,500 democratic party members have voted to elect 70 party branch chairmen.
The reestablishment calls the process the most transparent ever developed in Albanian pluralism, with massive participation, interest and high competitiveness.
In 8 out of 70 branches, the leaders will be women, while 30 percent of the branches will also be women.
