The High Inspector of Justice, Artur Metani reacted today to Sali Berisha, who a day ago asked for his resignation, accusing him of being involved in the incinerators case.

Asked in an interview with journalist Anila Hoxha, if he has a comment after Berisha's request for his resignation the day before, Metani said that, "I have no desire to deal with political comments, but I will respect your question. For this particular case, but also for anyone else who has complaints or accusations against the High Inspector of Justice or Artur Metani, I tell them to go to the prosecutor's office.

Secondly, anyone who seeks to intimidate or influence, or put pressure on the work of the High Inspector of Justice, forget it! Forget it! ", said Metani.

Berisha declared yesterday in an appearance to the media that, " I demand the immediate resignation of the High Inspector of Justice, Artur Metani, who is legally and criminally one of the main people responsible for the chili affair in Albania".
