The Police Directorate of Elbasan in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office managed to prevent the execution of a well-known businessman in the District of Elbasan.

Sources for ABC inform that the Elbasan police have received information that Luis Gaxha and Rigers Spahiu were preparing to execute a well-known businessman in Elbasan.

The same sources confirm that Nuredin Dumani, who confessed everything after the arrest, was also paid for the "head" of the businessman.

At the time of the intervention for the arrest of two dangerous persons, Luiz Gaxha and Rigers Spahiu, the police of Elbasan seized a large arsenal of weapons.

More specifically, they found:

• 4 Kalashnikov firearms, two of which are modified and with silencers;
• 3 pistols with silencers;
• 2 remote-controlled mines, ready to be activated for detonation by remote control, via mobile devices;
• Detonator capsules;
• A quantity of explosive substance, suspected "C4";
• 4 mobile devices;
• Considerable amount of combat ammunition, armor-piercing.

The weapons were found in the apartment of the citizen Luis Gaxhi in the neighborhood "Gurabardhi" in Elbasan, while Rigers Spahiu is suspected as an accomplice.

According to the investigations of the Prosecutor's Office, there are evidence-based indications that remote-controlled weapons and mines would be used for the execution of persons, on behalf of criminal groups identified by the Police.
