'Tears and prayers', 300,000 euros are collected in record time for Klevisi from Shkodra

The money was collected in record time to send Klevis Gjeluci, a 20-year-old from Shkodra, who has been in a coma for three weeks, after a car accident.

His friends took the initiative to collect funds from all Albanians who could, since the family cannot afford the cost of the operation.

He needed 600,000 euros to travel to Italy, where he will perform the operation, with the hope that the young man will return to Albania safe and sound.

The young man will be admitted to the "Gemelli" hospital in Rome, one of the best not only in Italy but also in Europe and the world. So far, about 300,000 euros have been collected, while we still need that much for the intervention, hospital treatment and return to the country.

It is reported that the 20-year-old left for Italy today. The journey will be made with a special ambulance made available by the hospital.
