The court of Lushnja has seized an apartment in Tirana worth 270 thousand euros from a 32-year-old man, as it is suspected that he benefited from criminal activity in the field of narcotics.

It is about the 32-year-old Marsel Korreshi, who was convicted of trafficking in narcotics, such as cocaine

"The specialists of the Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation section of the Fier Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office at the Lushnjë Judicial District Court, executed the decision of the Lushnjë Judicial District Court, dated 03.10.2022, for the placement preventive seizure of the assets of the citizen Marsel Korreshi, 32 years old, resident of Lushnjë, previously convicted for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics". From the investigative actions, it appears that the 32-year-old's assets are a source of criminal activity.

Pursuant to the Court's decision, a real estate (apartment in Tirana), valued at 270,000 euros, was seized," said the Police announcement.

Investigations and verifications continue for the identification of other assets that may be in the name of this citizen and the persons related to him.
