Alarm raised in the "Astir" area in Tirana/ 5 people are wanted! Police: They kept the 21-year-old locked up!

Tirana Police have identified and announced a search for 5 people suspected of keeping 21-year-old  Sajma Qordja locked up in an 8th floor apartment in Astir.

The following persons are wanted: SS, 29 years old, AA, 36 years old and OA, 31 years old, all three residents of Tirana; JS, 26 years old, resident of Tepelena; and AJ, 40 years old, resident of Vlora.

"From the first investigative actions carried out in this case, it is suspected that these citizens, in collaboration with each other, have kept the SQ citizen locked up in the apartment where she was, rented daily," the police inform, adding that work continues to capture the 5 wanted persons.

Meanwhile, an apartment opposite was also rented for a daily fee, where police services found 2 firearms, combat ammunition and other personal items during yesterday's (January 9) action that will serve the investigation.

Following the information provided yesterday, regarding the SQ citizen who requested Police assistance while on the eighth floor of a building in Astir, we would like to inform you that:

As a result of investigative actions carried out by the Sector for the Investigation of Crimes against Life and Property, under the direction of the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, the following citizens have been identified and declared wanted:

SS, 29 years old, AA, 36 years old and OA, 31 years old, all three residents of Tirana; JS, 26 years old, resident of Tepelena; and AJ, 40 years old, resident of Vlora.

From the first investigative actions carried out in this case, it is suspected that these citizens, in collaboration with each other, have kept the SQ citizen locked up in the apartment where she was located, rented on a daily basis.

Also, the apartment opposite was rented for a day, in which the Police services, yesterday, found during the search, 2 firearms, combat ammunition and other personal items that will serve the investigation.

Work continues to capture the 5 wanted citizens. Investigations are also ongoing in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, to fully document the incident and identify other citizens who may have been involved.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution Office for the criminal offenses of "Illegal Deprivation of Liberty", committed in collaboration, "Unauthorized Possession and Production of Weapons, Explosive Weapons and Ammunition" and "Forgery of Documents".
