Police action in Tirana, four arrested for VAT fraud

Four people are reported to have been handcuffed this evening in Tirana during a police action.

Out of seven arrest warrants issued by the prosecutor's office, four have been executed so far. It is reported that the arrested persons are part of a fraud scheme for benefits through VAT reimbursement.

There is still no official notification from the police, or information from the investigators regarding the attack on this group. Also, the names of the detained persons have not been disclosed.
