Italian MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli has reacted to the accident in Saranda, where two Italian tourists lost their lives.
Borrelli has addressed the Italian Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, to seek justice on the case.
That's why he says that more noise was made about the unpaid bill from the 4 Italian tourists in Berat, than about the death of two young people in Saranda.
" I hope that Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni will take timely measures to ask the Albanian government for justice for Domenico Gritto and Vincenzo Tizzano, the two young men from Monteruscello who were killed by a car in Saranda, Albania.
Do it with more persistence and determination with which you intervene to protect the Albanian restaurant by paying the bill of eighty euros for the four Italian motorists who left the restaurant without paying.
Unfortunately, at the moment not a single word has been said about our fellow citizens who lost their lives in the tragic accident, neither by you nor by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Unfortunately, an unpaid bill in a restaurant makes more noise than two Italians who were killed ", said Alleanza Verdi Sinistra deputy, Francesco Emilio Borrelli.
