An accident occurred on the Lushnje-Fier highway near the Pushimi ta Shoferi intersection.

Two vehicles collided in a wrong overtaking maneuver. The 'Dacia' type vehicle rented by two tourists hit a 'Benz' type vehicle from behind, which ended up in the side canal next to the highway.

There was material damage from the collision, while the driver of the 'Benz' and his passengers are in good condition, out of danger for their lives.

The police at the scene are working to discipline the traffic and are documenting the incident.

The accident caused long queues on the highway, since the movement towards Fier in the south had a significant number of vehicles.
