Fatal accident in Tirana, 23-year-old hits pedestrian with car

A tragic accident was recorded this afternoon in the "Misto Mame" area in Tirana, where a pedestrian lost her life after being hit by a vehicle.

The incident occurred at around 6:30 p.m. According to preliminary data, a 23-year-old man, with the initials OV, was driving a vehicle when he hit the pedestrian, citizen DP, around 55 years old.

As a result of the injuries sustained in the collision, the 55-year-old woman has died. The driver of the vehicle has been taken to the police station, where further procedural actions will be carried out.

Meanwhile, the investigation team is at the scene and is working to fully clarify the circumstances and causes of the accident.
