An arrest order for the head of the State Intelligence Service, Vlora Hyseni, and the search of the apartment of the former director of the State Police, Ilir Proda, were the strong blow that shocked public opinion in the last 24 hours. But the blow was not only institutional.
Immediately after Vlora Hyseni's arrest, parts of the investigative file began to circulate in the media, revealing her communications with Ergys Agas, one of the people arrested in the AKSHI file.
On this issue, the former head of serious crimes, Eugen Beci, explained the principle elements of this file, adding that SPAK is not interested in the phone calls between Hysen and Agas.
Beci raised the question that clans may exist in this midst, which could also bring counterattacks.
"Procedurally, the investigative body did what we expected. The important principle elements that we saw yesterday: One: An unprecedented precedent that was arrested on duty; two: the person who carries all the most sensitive information that we never think about, was overthrown, so the security pyramid of a state has been questioned; third, the credibility of international partners. They have the service as their main point, the leader is the face of the partner, when they see such a situation, these have helped an ordinary crime, an organized group, the partners will now see every protocol at will, the American, French, English subsidiaries will review their protocols, the Russians can rub their hands. Lastly, we are dealing with the damage to the institutional legal credibility, the fact that the certification of the person's security along with the appointment has failed, we have a deeper problem. The public has an interest in: the heart and the soul.
These elements that I think the prosecution does not care about. These may have been released by someone who does not care that the prosecution attacked the state within the state. Letting this information come out means that the public deals with irrelevant elements. A SPAK does not care that humanity deals with the phone, whether it was opened or not. We are in reasonable doubt. Yesterday the procedural issue was resolved, today let's discuss the moral part, there is no time, because tomorrow there may be a counterattack between the clans. We are talking about clans. But for the other files, is there any information that comes out. It is strange that some files were released and some were not. There is also a chain, from the officer to the prosecutor, the judge and finally to the defense attorney. We know very well that when I alone have the material, I do not release it, but when I distribute it, I release it and justify myself that others have it too. Will the prosecution go to the end?", said Beci.
