A stabbing occurred this evening near the "Petro Nini Luarasi" school in Tirana.
The injured man, identified as Kreshnik Cara, 49 years old, was shot in the abdomen.
He was rushed to hospital, where he underwent surgery. Sources say the 49-year-old is in serious condition.
Meanwhile, police have identified the suspected perpetrator of the injury. Although he fled the scene, his escape did not last long as he was handcuffed by police.
The investigation team is working to fully clarify the circumstances and motive of the injury.
