After the report of the head of SPAK Arben Kraja in the Law Commission on the work of this legal institution, MP Pandeli Majko addressed some critical questions.
Majko said that there is a low number of criminal proceedings and asked for information regarding the position of the SPAK for declaring a senior official non grata or how he acted in case of a leak of investigative secrecy.
A keni mekanizëm për koordinimin e institucioneve ligjore?
Kraja : The number of criminal offenses are detailed in tables. Without discussion the opinion of the partners or the Assembly we appreciate to build our work in sensing the priorities, the code of criminal procedure obliges the prosecution for each case.
For each report, the prosecutor is obliged to provide legal solutions, they are independent according to the law, priorities have to do with the charge or the arrested persons.
The leak of investigative secrecy is not in our competence, we have not had a concrete investigation except for one case, which is under trial today.
I do not give an answer to this question about being declared non grata because we are prohibited by law to talk about decisions of other institutions.
