The 55-year-old woman denounced her son for sexual harassment, Wife: He goes out

Dionis Myrtollari, accused of sexually harassing an 18-year-old with different abilities, protested together with his family members and fellow villagers at the Korca police station. He asked for the truth to be revealed, declaring that he is innocent.

"To clarify the incident, they have accused me. I don't know what to do, let the state give me justice. I notified the local police more than 10 times, they did not take any action. They are fools, I am among the fools. I have 3 children, give solutions. He's mentally ill, I'm in front of the police here. The children can't go out, I'm with the whole village here. They have no home, nothing, they destroyed my children", said Dionis Myrtollari.

While his wife said that "I know what the man has taken and he doesn't do such things", adding that the boy with different abilities goes out naked in the neighborhood and terrifies the children by hitting them with stones.

"I denounced my husband for these things. I know what kind of husband I got, he doesn't do these things. I have 3 children to raise and feed. We are very worried, I go home and find the children crying. He takes off his clothes and goes out naked in the neighborhood, he terrifies my children, he hits them with stones. I want the honor of my family because it has disturbed my peace. I am here with all the people of the village", declared the woman.

On October 12, Ativie Qazimllari from the village of Porodinë in Korça denounced her neighbor for sexually harassing her 18-year-old son with a different ability. She said that she saw Dionis Myrtollari with her son naked in the basement.

"He stripped my son from half of his body down and I don't know if he did anything or not, I saw both of them naked" , said the woman while the police are verifying her statements.

The police also responded to this incident. "Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Korçë Police Station referred the materials for assessment to the Prosecutor's Office of the Korçë Judicial District, after on 12.10.2022, the citizen AQ, 55 years old, resident in the village of Porodinë, Korçë, filed a report, who claims that 4 months ago, citizen DM, 40 years old, sexually harassed her differently abled son. This incident was not previously reported to the Police by the boy's family members. The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Offices of the Judicial Districts of Korçë and Pogradec, for further actions",  the police announced .
