Assassination attempt in Saranda, attempted murder of a 50-year-old man

A person was injured by gunfire this Saturday afternoon in neighborhood no. 4 of Saranda.

According to preliminary information, the injured person is a citizen around 50 years old, who was urgently transported to Saranda Hospital to receive medical assistance.

Numerous police forces have arrived at the scene, surrounded the area and launched investigations to clarify the circumstances of the incident.

Preliminary sources indicate that an assassination attempt is suspected, while at this stage there has been no official announcement from the Police on the motives or possible perpetrators.
