Police have arrested Edison Agolli, suspected of being an accomplice in the assassination attempt on Brian Syzo, an event that occurred on June 30 in Pogradec, where the 35-year-old was wounded by gunfire.

Brian Syzo himself has also been arrested , and he must serve a sentence of 3 years and 4 months in prison for " production and sale of narcotics ."

22-year-old Edison Agolli was arrested yesterday by the criminal investigation structures at the Korça Local Police Directorate, after being declared wanted immediately after the incident.

According to investigations, Agolli is suspected of being with his brother and two other people at the moment they attempted to kill Brian Syzon with a firearm.

He is charged with "premeditated murder committed for interest and revenge", attempted and committed in collaboration.

Investigators also suspect that Agolli's arrest is also related to the placement of a camera near the Drenova Prison, with the aim of monitoring Brian Syzo's movements.
