The new Israeli Ambassador to Albania, Ohad Nakash Kaynar, has officially begun his diplomatic mission, after presenting his credentials to the President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj.
In a reaction published on the X platform, the Israeli diplomat described taking office as an important moment, committing to strengthening relations between the citizens of the two countries.
Kaynar emphasized that Albania and Israel, as two small countries, with diverse societies and long histories, have the potential to expand cooperation in a number of strategic sectors.
Among the priority areas, he mentioned technology, industry, scientific research and development, considering them as opportunities for deepening bilateral relations.
The Ambassador pledged that during his mandate he will work to promote these opportunities, while simultaneously guaranteeing transparency and fair treatment in the embassy's activities.
He dedicated a special part of the message to the importance of trust between Albanians and Israelis for economic development.
“Trust between Israelis and Albanians is essential for creating business opportunities, jobs and investment,” Kaynar wrote.
He warned that this trust could be damaged by conspiracy theories and false narratives, emphasizing his and the embassy's commitment to countering them.
"It is easy to destroy this trust through conspiracy theories and false narratives; however, the Embassy and I will strive to refute them, ensuring that truth and trust prevail," he writes.
According to the diplomat, preserving truth and trust will be part of efforts to strengthen relations between the two countries.
"Let's get to work!", the ambassador concluded his message, signaling the start of diplomatic engagement in Tirana.
