Tensions and physical clashes have been recorded in front of the Ministry of Education, where Democratic Party protesters have attempted to approach and join the student protest.
The latter have objected to their presence, asking them to leave with shouts of: "Leave!".
The situation has become tense between two groups of protesters, escalating into physical clashes. Students and other protest participants have maintained their stance against the involvement of DP representatives and supporters.
A dividing corridor was created between the protesters, where banners reading "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison" were placed.
Various slogans and calls were heard in this group of protesters. One side chanted "Arrest Berisha", "Down with the Communist Party secretaries", while the democratic protesters responded with chants of "Down with the patronage!"
The clashes continued with the removal of one of the protesters who did not welcome the Democrats, who declared that he was against the entire political class.
He addressed them with the words:
"You ruined it once in 1990, do you want to do it again? You want to do it again, but your time is up! I support the students, I support the people against the old political class. I am one of those who voted for the DP, but enough is enough!"
I understand the whole 36-year-old game. He did it once in 1990, he'll do it again, but he won't be able to pull it off.
"I changed my mind because Berisha promised on the platform that he would open the party and resign if he did not win the elections," said the protester.
A protester responds by saying that they are out to overthrow the current Prime Minister Edi Rama.
"Until 2025 I voted for the DP, brother! Hey, are you for democracy? I understand these people, they are deceived, they do not understand reality. I am not with any party. I am one of those who voted," said one of the protesters.
