Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić gave an interview to "Informer" television on Thursday evening, where he made several statements that have caused great concern in public opinion.

One of the most shocking statements was his admission that dark thoughts and a desire for revenge were emerging in his mind.

"I'm afraid that something bad has started to arise in my head - a thought about how to return all the bad to those who have done me, my family, my children and everyone," Vučić said, adding that he "fights against this impulse every day."

Vučić then admitted in a stern tone that it would be no problem for the police to disperse even a crowd of tens of thousands of protesters in a matter of minutes. Citing the recent protests in Belgrade, he said: “It is no problem for the police to intervene in front of 30,000 people in two minutes.”

In the interview, the Serbian president also spoke about a conversation with his brother, Andrej Vučić, where he openly suggested that Serbia and the state budget are seen as personal property. “Your mistake was that you were concerned with the welfare of the people, forgetting about strengthening the system,” his brother had told him.

Another point that raised controversy was the indirect accusation against a British Embassy official, a certain Avramovic, of destabilization efforts in southern Serbia. Although Vučić said there was no evidence of the British Embassy's direct involvement, he cited "information from Serbian services" that "is not for the public."

At the end of the interview, Vučić harshly attacked the protesting students and the veterans who support them, calling them “criminals.” “I feel like crying from boredom and hitting myself. Who are you to think you can do whatever you want?” he declared in an emotional outburst.

This public appearance by President Vučić has raised serious concerns about his emotional state and political stability in Serbia, analysts say.
