High intensity rainfall has caused flooding in several areas of the city of Vlora today.

The situation is problematic in the "Pavarësia" neighborhood, but also on other streets in the city, where traffic continues to be difficult and water is on the road in some segments.

Residents complain about blocked manholes, which, according to them, are filled with stones and other inert materials.

This situation prevents the water from draining away and causes it to remain on the streets and near homes for a long time. Residents fear that if the rainfall continues at the same intensity or lasts for a longer period, the situation could deteriorate significantly, to the point of making it impossible to enter their homes.

For this reason, they are requesting interventions to clean the canals and improve the drainage system, so that any heavy rainfall does not become a problem for the daily life of the community.
