Yildiz, World Cup double: Juve wins with poker against Wydad and mortgages
Kenan Yildiz

Juventus also won their second group match, defeating Moroccan side Wydad AC 4-1. The main protagonist of the match was Kenan Yildiz, with two and a half goals scored.

The Turkish fantasy player opened the scoring in the 6th minute, with a beautiful shot that beat the opposing goalkeeper, thanks to Boutouil's deflection. For FIFA it is an own goal, but the beautiful and persistent action of the black and whites (who scored after 26 passes) remains, as does the excellent reading of the match by the Turk.

In the 16th minute, Yildiz scored the second goal, this time with a fantastic shot from distance.

The Moroccans did not give up and, taking advantage of a lack of attention from the black and whites, narrowed the gap with Thembinkosi Lorch in the 26th minute. The first half ended 2-1 for Juventus.

In the 69th minute, Yildiz showed his class once again by scoring his third personal goal, after an assist from Kolo Muani. In the 94th minute, the black and whites scored their fourth goal with Dusan Vlahovic, from the penalty spot.

With two wins in the first two group matches, Juventus secures qualification for the quarterfinals.
