The first suspects fell in Denia, the port point where they had traveled by ferry and where they were identified and arrested by National Police agents, as confirmed by sources close to the case. The National Police would have practiced at least one more arrest in another part of the Peninsula.

The vehicle was equipped with boxes in which a part of the robbery was stored. The National Police made four more arrests in Malaga, three men and a woman.
