Tensions between Bayern Munich and Robert Lewandowski continue. The Polish center-forward has made things clear, explaining that he no longer wants to play for the German club and that he has chosen Barcelona.
The leaders of the Bavarian club, however, do not want to let him leave and underline that there is a contract between the two parties that expires in 2023. In short, a wall against the wall, which does not seem to be resolved soon.
And there is no lack of criticism for his behavior and for the statements against the team with which he won everything and that helped him become a star of world football. But where does this desire to go to Camp Nou at all costs come from? This is explained by a person who knows him very well.
Better than Benzema
It is about Cezary Kucharski, who was the Polish manager and who spoke about the situation in CadenaSER. "He wants to prove he is better than Benzema, that is another reason why he wants to go to Barcelona."
Therefore, a concrete goal and a little willpower to fulfill ancient desires, as the current manager of the player Pini Zahavi said. Indeed, Kucharski explains how the Polish center-forward sees football.
"Lewandowski has no dreams. For him football is a job and he is a very professional person. "For him, Real Madrid and Barcelona are on the same level."
And seeing that at the Santiago Bernabeu is exactly the center-forward that Lewa wants to challenge, there is no better way than transferring to the Catalans and La Liga.
Bayern dinte
But it is not so simple, because it is still that small problem with the contract that keeps the Pole bound to Bayern Munich.
And all indications coming from the Bavarian club go towards a head-to-head clash because the German club does not seem willing to sell the player.
For Kucharski, however, the center-forward will not give up. "Barça and Lewandowski will fight for this. I think he will eventually go to Barcelona, I see it possible, but they have to put pressure on Bayern to release him from the contract.
But the executives knew he wanted to go to Spain. "His plan has always been Germany, Spain and then to end his career in the United States."
But even though they knew in advance it is not that the ideas of the Germans have changed much…
