Switzerland secured direct qualification for the 2026 World Cup last night.

The "Shelvets" drew 1:1 against Kosovo at "Fadil Vokrri", which was enough to secure first place in the group.

Granit Xhaka was undoubtedly the headliner for Switzerland in these qualifiers, leading the team to another World Cup.

Xhaka was booed last night at "Fadil Vokrri", something he himself did not expect. Granit's brother, Taulant Xhaka, has also reacted to this.

"Always with you until death, brother. The pride of Albanians. May God protect all true Albanians around the world," he wrote.
