PSG is declared European Super Champion, beats Tottenham on penalties

Paris Saint-Germain won the Super Cup in dramatic fashion, overturning the score against Tottenham Hotspur in the final seconds and then triumphing from the penalty spot with a score of 4-3.

The match was a real spectacle that ended in a 2-2 draw after regular time, but everything was decided in the penalty lottery, where PSG showed more calm and efficiency.

Tottenham had the lead until the 85th minute, but Lee Kang-In scored the first goal for PSG after a beautiful assist from Vitinha. When it seemed that everything would end with the victory of the English, Gonçalo Ramos scored in the 90+4′ minute after an action by Dembele, leading the match to a penalty.

In the penalty shootout, PSG proved to be more accurate, scoring 4 of 5 penalties, while Tottenham made mistakes on 3 occasions. Vitinha was the only one to make a mistake for the French, but mistakes by van de Ven and Telangana proved fatal for the London team.

This is the first European Super Cup for PSG, which seeks to continue with the form it closed last season.
