A group of Paris Saint-Germain ultra fans have vowed to boycott all matches following protests against the club's board, Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr.

Disgruntled supporters made their feelings known shortly after the decision to suspend the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner following his unauthorized trip to Saudi Arabia.

Messi will not sign a new contract at the Parc des Princes after seeing his commitment to the cause questioned during a two-year spell in France, while Neymar has also attracted unwanted attention from fans during another season. hit by injuries.

"At the end of the meeting between the leaders of the club and the leaders of Collectif Ultras Paris (CUP), the CUP office decided to completely stop our activities. Therefore, we will no longer be present at the Parc des Princes or on the tour.

Recent events in the state of our joint relationship with the leaders lead us to believe that this is the best and only solution likely to preserve a shared future. We are waiting for clear answers from the club on several points, so that we can review our positions", says a statement released by CUP on social networks.

The ultras will not attend the men's or women's games after being part of protests at the club's headquarters in Boulogne-Billancourt last week against chairman Nasser Al Khelaifi and prominent members of staff.

PSG supporters have objected to the performances of some players, particularly those they feel are not giving their all for the club, while opposition has been voiced against alleged plans on behalf of the board to buy the Stade de France, rather than finance improvements to the Parc des Princes
