Heart problems, Egnatia coach undergoes surgery

The coach of Egnatia of Rrogozhina in the Super League of Football, Edlir Tetova, has undergone heart surgery. Fortunately, everything went well and the 42-year-old is in a stable condition.

It is learned that on the evening between Monday and Tuesday, Tetova had concerns and an emergency ambulance was required to take her to one of Tirana's private hospitals.

After a detailed examination, doctors deemed it appropriate to perform an intervention to place stents in the heart. On Tuesday (yesterday), the operation was successful and the coach's condition is reported to be good, but he is still under the care of doctors.

It is now expected to be known how long Egnatia will remain without a coach on the bench, with health being the priority.
