Former FIFA president Sepp Blatter and former UEFA president Michel Platini have been found not guilty in their trial for corruption at world football's highest body.
The parties were accused of an amount of around 2 million euros, which was given by Blatter to Platini in 2011. The parties denied the allegations, saying it was late payment for work done by Platini's advisers at FIFA.
Blatter told the media before entering the Swiss Federal Court: "I am not innocent in my life, but in this case I am." In the end, the Federal Criminal Court in Switzerland declared Blatter and Platini innocent.
