Partizani football club has officially confirmed the dismissal of coach Mladen Milinkovic, following the 0-3 defeat in the last derby against Tirana and the team's poor results in the championship. Oltijon Kërnaja will provisionally take charge of the red bench.
The 37-year-old from Bajram Curri currently holds the position of coach of the Partizani B team and assistant coach of the first team.
"Partizani Football Club announces the termination of cooperation with coach Mladen Milinkovic. After analyzing the team's performances and results in these 6 weeks of the championship, the club has decided to dismiss coach Milinkovic and his two assistants," the announcement states.
Milinkovic sat on the Partizan bench in June of this year and led the team in six Super League matches.
Four consecutive losses and only four points after six weeks of play have left Partizan in the penultimate place in the standings. Meanwhile, three days ago, Partizan's sports director, Arbër Abilaliaj, resigned.
